Flappy Spikes Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Thanks for playing Flappy Spikes. This page explains, in plain language, what information the game collects, why it collects it, and what it never does. If anything here is unclear, write to me at hello@duoleads.com and I will do my best to answer.

The short version

Flappy Spikes is a small arcade game. It keeps your best score on your device, sends anonymous gameplay statistics to Google Firebase Analytics, and, if you choose to sign in, shows your best score on the public leaderboards run by Google Play Games or Apple Game Center. That is all. There are no ads, no accounts with me, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

What the game collects

On your device. Your best score, the number of games you have played, and your sound setting are stored locally on your phone. This data never leaves your device.

Gameplay statistics. The game uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played: when a game starts, when it ends, the score you reached, and whether you set a new best. Firebase also automatically records technical details like your device model, operating system version, app version, and an approximate country or city derived from your IP address. None of this tells me who you are. I use it only to see how many people play and where the game can be improved.

Leaderboards. If you sign in to Google Play Games (on Android) or Game Center (on iPhone), the game submits your best score to the public leaderboard under the nickname you chose for that service. Signing in is optional and handled entirely by Google or Apple. The game never sees your password and never gets access to your Google or Apple account beyond your player nickname and score.

What the game does not do

No ads and no ad tracking. No account registration with me. No names, email addresses, contacts, photos, or precise locations collected. No data sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. No push notifications.

Third party services

The game relies on three services, each with its own privacy policy:

Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics)
Google Play Games (leaderboards on Android)
Apple Game Center (leaderboards on iPhone)

Keeping and deleting your data

Local data (best score, games played, sound setting) stays on your device until you delete the app. Analytics data is kept by Google for a limited time and is not linked to your identity. Leaderboard scores stay on Google Play Games or Game Center until you remove them there. If you want your analytics data deleted, email me at hello@duoleads.com from the device you play on and I will take care of it. You can also reset the game's analytics identifier at any time by reinstalling the app.

Children

Flappy Spikes is a general audience game, but it is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the game, please contact me and I will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if ads are ever added), this page will be updated before the change goes live, and the date at the top will show when that happened.
